The Dance Pizazz Annual Spring/Winter Showcase (Recital) At Dance Pizazz we hold two yearly showcases: every May and every December in our main ballroom. Showcases allow students to be “one of the crowd” or to push themselves with more challenging choreographed solo dances and it’s a great to do both just for fun or as preparation for an upcoming competition. Showcases are a wonderful time to build camaraderie as everyone fully supports and encourages each other throughout the day. This is a great opportunity for students to either show off or work on their performance skills reflecting the true character of the dance/routine (think “Dancing with the Stars” or “So You Think You Can Dance”). Routines are usually between 1 and 1 ½ minutes in length. What is a Dance Showcase? A Dance Showcase is like a Dance Recital- our students prepare routines to perform, and invite their friends and family to come watch! You can dance with your Instructor, or with you own partner! Call 636.441.6854 to find out when the date of our next showcase.
Couples Retreats Dancing with your partner is an enjoyable way to connect with your spouse and to bring each of your roles back into balance. It also gives you space to express who you are, release the things that block your flow and give space to your partner to do the same. At the retreat you will have time to dance, bond, talk, share, and listen to each other, supported by your experienced dance instructor. What will you receive from the retreat?

Competition To a beginning dancer, competitions are a lot of fun for both the beginner and the experienced dancer. They give you a chance to challenge yourself to your limits and beyond. Students can enter competitions with their instructors (pro/am) or with another student (amateur couples). Every level and age category is offered, which allows everyone to get out on the floor and be a part of this wonderful sport. Competitions are also a time to come together and feel like a part of something real—like a tight-knit family, team or group of pals. Despite any competition, everyone tends to be incredibly supportive of each other. Students who want to get really serious about their dancing and competing will not only partake in local competitions, but can travel to compete to be the best in the country. Call to us to find out when the date of our next competition or to get starting in being the best dancer you can be! |
