Dance Pizazz is thrilled to welcome the acclaimed dancer and coach, Mr. Ilya Reyzin, to the studio once again! Mr. Reyzin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our dancers, having honed his skills from a young age in Russia.

Ilya’s passion for dance began at the tender age of five, and by eleven, he was already a force to be reckoned with, clinching the second place spot in the junior division of the Open Russian National Championship. Throughout his teenage years, he represented Russia in numerous international championships, consistently achieving top placements. At sixteen, he reached the prestigious World 10-Dance Championship in Austria, solidifying his place among the world’s best dancers.

In 1997, Ilya embarked on a new chapter in his life, immigrating to the United States. He continued to captivate audiences across the country, competing in the Amateur Latin and Standard divisions. His talent and dedication were undeniable, as he consistently placed as a US National 10-Dance finalist for four consecutive years.

But Ilya’s achievements extend far beyond competition results. He is a gifted coach, dedicated to sharing his knowledge and passion with the next generation of dancers. His expertise in American Rhythm, American Smooth, and Showdance has earned him widespread recognition and accolades.
